Speaking to Frank Osei Owusu aka Winter on Onua FM, the former hard-tackling defender said Dan Coleman did not have what it takes to be considered as the best defender that Ghana’s domestic league has ever produced. According to him, he was one of best that Ghanaians could boast of as the likes of former Hearts captian Amankwah Mireku can testify. “Daniel Coleman doesn’t have any certificate to counsel Ghana defenders but I have…
The Chair of the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC), Jean Adukwei Mensa, has written to the Human Rights Division of the High Court in Accra to dismiss a suit brought before it by Member of Parliament for Ashaiman Constituency Ernest Henry Norgbey. Mr Norgbey had requested information on the processes that led to the procurement of some equipment purportedly for the compilation of a new voters’ register by the Commission. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP made the request under the Right to Information Act 2019, Act 989. But the EC responded by saying some sections of the Act were not…

Former Minister of Health Dr George Sipa-Adjah Yankey has laughed off the announcement by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to build at least 88 new hospitals, saying no government worth its salt can do so within one year. “It is not feasible,” he emphasized. Dr Sipah Yankey made this known on Thursday on Hot Issues with Johnnie Hughes. “To begin to build a hospital doesn’t take one year.” During his periodic Covid-19 televised address last Sunday, President Akufo-Addo said government will within the next one year build 94 hospitals…
