Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa, has made her first comments since the helicopter crash that killed the basketball star, one of their daughters and seven others last Sunday. In a post on Instagram with a family photo, she said she was “completely devastated” and that there were not “enough words to describe our pain”. The death toll of the coronavirus has risen to 170 and with a confirmed case in Tibet, the virus has now spread to every region in mainland China. Chinese health authorities have said there were 7,711 confirmed cases in the country as of 29 January. Infections have also spread to at least 16 other countries. The new Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Felix Fosu-Agyeman, has attributed the numerous cases of missing children and its associated kidnapping cases in the region to unresolved misunderstandings between parents and these children. According to him, most of the missing cases reported are as a result of broken homes, which often push children away. The Ghana Police Service says it will continue to operate its emergency numbers despite the new unified emergency number announced by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
