Some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from the Asante Bekwai Constituency are demonstrating at the party’s headquarters demanding nomination forms for one of the aspirants, Kwesi Amofa-Agyemang. The members are accusing the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Osei Owusu, of neglecting them. According to them, party executives are frustrating lawyer Kwesi Amofa-Agyemang by denying him the nomination forms. A visibly upset Sir Elton John has been forced to cut short a concert in New Zealand after falling ill with walking pneumonia. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cut sod for the construction of a multi-purpose two-storey regional administration block for the Food and Agriculture Directorate in Nkwanta in the Oti Region. A senior state attorney, Hilda Graig, in a case between the state and 10 persons, who have been accused of planning to destabilize the country, has hinted of freeing one of the accused, Colonel Gershon Akpa.
