After a three-week break, the Connect FM Community Street Rap Battle made a return with a fiery rap battle in Kojokrom in the Western Region on Saturday, August 24 for the eviction stage of the competition. A young man believed to be in his 20s has been allegedly killed at Suame Market in the Suame Municipality. The boy was found hanged with school cardigan trouser behind a corn mill wooden structure at the market. He was allegedly beaten and butchered before being hanged by his attackers. Women in Bangladesh are no longer required to declare if they are virgins on marriage registration forms, the country’s top court has ruled. The high court ordered that “virgin” be replaced with “unmarried”. The other two options on the form – “widow” and “divorced” – remain unchanged.
