The National Labour Commission (NLC) has sent an urgent notice to leadership of the Technical University Senior Administrators Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) over the recently declared strike action. The notice orders the leadership of TUSAAG to appear before the Commission on Friday. TUSAAG declared strike on Wednesday, January 8 over unpaid allowances, claiming the December salaries received by members were below those paid their colleagues in other public universities. A Tamale magistrate court presided over by Amadu Issifu on Wednesday, January 8 remanded Dramani Zakaria and Abdul Rahaman into prison custody. The two were charged with murder, the Salaga District Police Commander, DSP David Kofi Kumah, revealed.
