The Black Stars fan who invaded the Cape Coast Stadium pitch on Thursday, November 14 in Ghana’s 2-0 win over South Africa has been fined GH¢2,400. Failure to pay the fine will land Awal Sulemana in prison for three months. The sentence was pronounced on Thursday by a Cape Coast Circuit Court. Wails by rice farmers in Fumbisi in the Upper East Region over failure to get buyers for their harvest have attracted several buyers, 3news.com has gathered. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has issued a provisional calendar for the 2019/20 football season. The Association composed its Executive Council and elected a president last October in a long process to normalize Ghana football following an exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in 2018. The Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) has explained that it will not be a misplaced priority for the government to construct a national shrine for Ghana.
