Octogenarian Charles Komi Kudzordi last Saturday led the Foundation to declare Western Togoland an independent state. The Western Togoland area covers Volta Region, Oti Region and parts of Northern, North East and Upper East regions. Immediately after the declaring the independence, which had originally been scheduled to be done…

Mr Asiedu Nketia was speaking in an exclusive interview on Sunrise on 3FM with host Winston Amoah. The referendum, seeking to allow the introduction of partisan politics in the district level elections, has generated varying views with stakeholders divided…

He said he was “very pleased” that claims of “false violent disorder” were retracted by the Oxford Union. The union has been asked for comment. The postgraduate student from Ghana said his treatment made him feel “unwelcome in the union, Oxford and even the country”. The Oxford Union, which is independent from the university, has a…

Messi was in the mood from the outset as he rode four challenges in the first half before retaining possession and picking himself off the floor to spin the nearest defender and…

“Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your NEIGHBOURS – empty vessels; do not gather just a few.” ― 2 Kings 4:3 [NKJV] One topic I always loved to teach in my days as a Biology tutor was symbiosis. It was about relationships; relationships between animals or plants and their environment. From those lessons, it was obvious no organism could survive alone. They had to depend on others or others had to depend on them. Like these plants and animals, no one can ever survive alone! Have you ever imagined a life on earth all alone? Even…
A 47th minute penalty converted by striker Jordan Ayew against Sao Tome and Principe sent Ghana top of Group C in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. China-based Emmanuel Boateng was brought down in the penalty area a few minutes into the second half and Ayew converted the resultant spot-kick to give Ghana the maximum points. It was the Black Stars’ second game in the qualifiers, having beaten South Africa’s Bafana Bafana 2-0 in their first qualifier. There was little excitement in the match on Monday as the Stars failed to convert the few opportunities that came their way…
