Former Burton Albion defender Kelvin Maynard has been shot and killed in Amsterdam, Dutch police have confirmed. The 32-year-old was shot in his car and police are appealing for witnesses as they search for two suspects who they say escaped on a black scooter. Media General’s Natalie Fort has sued celebrity gossip website, GhanaCelebrities.com and six others for defamation. The writ of summons issued on September 4, 2019 from an Accra High Court is an action taken in response to a defamatory publication published on July 15, 2019 by GhanaCelebrities website. Robert O’Brien has had a long career in foreign policy working for both main US parties and currently heads hostage negotiations at the State Department. The Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations is asking government to fulfil commitment it made at the Global Disability Summit in Kenya in July, 2018. The Federation says government, for instance, committed to ensuring that 1.5 percent of the Ministry of Education budget is allocated to inclusive education. But its checks reveal only 0.3 percent has been allocated to that cause.
