A former Ashanti Region Minister, Dr Samuel Sarpong, has described as a total fallacy a claim by the regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the Kejetia project is their initiative. According to the former mayor of Kumasi, the project from scratch started under the late Mills-Mahama administration, adding that contractors of the Kejetia project were brought by him from Brazil during his tenure as Kumasi mayor. Private legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw has described prophets in Ghana as attention seekers instead of seeking to edify Christians.
