CNN has filed a lawsuit against President Trump and several of his aides, seeking the immediate restoration of chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s access to the White House. The lawsuit is a response to the White House’s suspension of Acosta’s press pass, known as a Secret Service “hard pass,” last week. Fifa has appointed a normalisation committee to run the affairs of Madagascar’s Football Federation (FMF). Football’s world body says it is disbanding the current administration because the FA’s electoral process was “not carried out in accordance with the regulatory requirements applicable to the members of Fifa.” The normalisation committee’s mandate will include organising FMF elections and identifying “legitimate delegates” for the FA’s general assembly.
