Reports suggest there is bad blood between the regional chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila, and regional secretary Sualisu Be-Awuribe. Gabon’s opposition leader Jean Ping has again claimed victory in elections held in 2016, as President Ali Bongo is being treated in a hospital abroad. Speaking in Libreville, Mr Ping urged the nation to overcome its divisions and rally around a common ideal. Government has named its members for the Governing Council of the Kwame Nkrumah Science and Technology (KNUST) to be reconstituted by Chancellor Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Government missed a Wednesday, October 31 deadline to submit its representatives.
