The Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) has concluded its investigations into the allegations of corruption and match-fixing leveled against some members as captured in the documentary film by journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. A statement by RAG on Monday said a five-member investigative committee was set up to look into the conduct of the 75 referees whose names and faces appeared in the film. Volkswagen has decided to kill its iconic Beetle.  The company’s American unit announced Thursday that it would end global production of the third-generation bulbous bug in July of next year after offering two special editions for sale. The compact Beetle was introduced in Germany in 1938 during the Nazi era and came to the U.S. 11 years later, where it became a symbol of utilitarian transportation often used by hippies. Big Brother’s Twitter account shared the news that the 19th series, launching on Friday night, would be the last. Channel 5 confirmed Celebrity Big Brother was also ending.
