Ghana has won three gold medals in the just ended SAGE World Cup competition in South Africa, placing them second only to Israel, who went away with four. Italian President Sergio Mattarella is due to preside over a state funeral for 18 of the victims of Tuesday’s bridge collapse in Genoa. Mr Mattarella and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte will lead mourners at the ceremony at a hall in the city. Mr Trump was impressed by France’s Bastille Day parade on a visit in 2017 and said the US could “top it”.
