Despite releasing names of referees for this weekend’s FA Cup matches, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has backtracked, calling off all those matches – both men and women. President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has apologized “unreservedly” to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, ministers and deputy ministers “for indiscretion in associating them with the private conversations on the video”. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he is steadily fulfilling his promises though some were labelled impossible. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has begun a three-day tour of the Western Region. This follows the completion of a similar tour undertaken in the Brong Ahafo Region from May 18 – 20. Day One of the President’s tour will see him cut the sod for the construction of the 24.3 kilometre Kojina-Chirano-Etwebo Akoti road. He will also launch the Ghana Agriculture Census.
