The roofing of the magistrate court in Dunkwa-on-Offin in the Upper Denkyira East District of the Central Region was ripped off after a heavy storm over the weekend. Staff of the court could not have access to the building on Monday, March 27 as a result of the damage caused. 3news.com’s Kwame Karkarba reported that important documents were seen being dried in the sun by staff as they had gotten wet due to the rains. The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released the postings for nurses for the 2017/2018 service year. In all, 6,676 nurses have been posted to health facilities dotted across the ten regions of the country. Russia’s main opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, has been arrested at an anti-corruption protest he organised in the capital, Moscow. Thousands of people joined rallies nationwide, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev over corruption allegations. At least 500 other protesters were detained in the capital and across the country. Most of the marches were organised without official permission.
