The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) is currently investigating supposedly fraudulent payments at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to beneficiaries in 216 districts, Chief Executive Officer Justine Frimpong has disclosed. The payments amount to over GH¢20 million, the Acting CEO said on Wednesday while addressing journalists. Mr Frimpong said some 2,716 beneficiaries, who had no official appointment letters, have been paid over GH¢3 million between February and May, 2017.
