Women love romance and its mysterious nature. There’s something about those intimate gestures of true love and deep affection from the one who gets our emotions flowing that stirs up our most passionate nature in an instant. When a man goes out of his way to make sure his woman knows he was thinking of her when she wasn’t around and no special occasion needed to be remembered, it reminds her of just exactly why he made her swoon when they first fell for each other. Romance is what makes the love between two people so damn amazing. It’s what…
Trump takes office Donald Trump has fired the acting US attorney general, after she questioned the legality of his immigration ban. Sally Yates, who had been appointed under Barack Obama, earlier ordered justice department lawyers not to enforce the president’s executive order. Dana Boente, US attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, replaced her as acting attorney general. He has directed the department to enforce Mr Trump’s order. In a statement, the White House said Ms Yates had “betrayed” the department. Mr Trump’s order temporarily banned nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US, and sparked street protests in…
Pressure group OccupyGhana is calling on the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to conduct independent investigations into the “damning” allegations of bribery against some members of Parliament’s Appointments Committee. The Tamale Airport was strategically built by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to provide the erstwhile Soviet Union with the bridge to support Cuba by air. It was therefore built with all facilities and underground bunkers for offensive and transport operations. This was revealed by the First Commander of the base in 1974, Air Commander Kwame Korankye Pumpuni (rtd), in a rededication ceremony of the Number Four Hangar of the Tamale Air Force base in his honor. He said the Hangar was one of the facilities he personally supervised its construction when he was posted there as a Station Commander. The Hangar…

Volkswagen has overtaken Toyota to become the world’s best-selling carmaker, the first time the German company has held the position. Japan’s Toyota, which had topped sales for the past four years, sold 10.175 million vehicles globally in 2016. That fell short of the 10.31 million sales which VW reported last week. The milestone comes despite VW’s scandal over emissions tests cheating, which sparked a global backlash and multiple lawsuits. Volkswagen, which makes the Audi, Porsche and Skoda brands, saw a 3.8% increase in sales buoyed by demand in China. And it has been making inroads in other markets too. In…
