Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been enstooled a chief by the Paramount Chief of Monrovia, Liberia in a short ceremony. President Akufo-Addo was in the Liberian capital on Friday, May 26 as part of the third leg of his tour of West Africa. On his arrival, the president was given the key to the city of Monrovia – a gesture done respectable dignitaries – by Mayor Clara Doe. Undisputed former world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jnr has announced that he will be in Ghana next month. In a widely circulated video, the retired boxer says he will be in Ghana “the motherland” on June 15 & 16. The former five-division champion paid his first visit to the African continent in 2014, when he travelled to South Africa for a tour. He is expected to be in Ghana with The Money Team (TMT).
