An attempt by a form one student to murder his teacher who punished him for absenting from school has been foiled. Richard Koduah of the Birim B/A Junior High School in the Nsuta District of the Ashanti Region, in his bid to payback his female teacher, surreptitiously entered the teacher’s room into the roof carrying a knife and machete. Traditional authorities at Daboase in the Wassa East District of the Western Region are leading residents for a six-day spiritual exercise to exorcise what they say is evil spirit which has brought bad omen to the township.
