Unilever Ghana has appointed George Owusu-Ansah as its new managing director following the resignation of Mrs Gladys Amoah from the consumer goods company. A non-executive Director of the company, Mr Yaw Nsarkoh, who resigned his post, effective November 30, will now take up a new role in the UK as Unilever’s Executive Vice President Market Projects. Anti-corruption campaigner, P.C. Appiah Ofori, says President Nana Akufo-Addo has not demonstrated enough commitment to fighting corruption in the country for the three years he has been in office. The Cameroon government has shut down more than 260 schools that had been operating informally in the country’s francophone regions. The schools had been opened to help absorb students fleeing the separatist uprising in Cameroon’s English-speaking regions.
