The Black Stars bowed out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup following a 1-0 loss to Colombia in the Round of 32.
The match, played at the Kansas City Stadium, saw the two sides battle for the ticket to face Switzerland in the Round of 16 in Vancouver.
A scramble between Ghanaian defender Jordan Opoku and Colombian striker Jhon Cordoba early in the game led to the latter going down injured.
He was immediately substituted.
A few minutes later Marvin Senaya also suffered a knock, forcing a substitution by Black Stars Head Coach Carlos Queiroz.
With Alidu Seidu on, the Black Stars conceded in the 14th minute after an unmarked Jhon Arias put the ball at the left side of Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
Try as the Black Stars did, they failed to find the back of the net.
Colombia scored through Bayern Munich attacker Luiz Diaz but he was caught offside.
Ati-Zigi was also called to make some brilliant saves to still keep the score at 1-0.
After 90 minutes play, Colombia emerged winners with a match against Switzerland in the Round of 16 on Tuesday, July 6.
