The Overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom, Ya-Na Abukari Mahama II, has been buried in accordance with traditional customs, NewsfileGH can confirm.
Ya-Na Abukari II’s death was announced on Monday, July 13 but the incident is believed to have occurred over the weekend.
NewsfileGH gathers he has since been buried to make way for the enskinment of his successor.
His son has been appointed Kampakuya Na to serve as Regent of the Dagbon Kingdom.
This is part of the process to appoint a successor.
