President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Libreville, Gabon to attend the Libreville international forum.
The forum will mainly focus on innovation and technology, economic development in Gabon and Africa, improving business climate to attract investors and building partnerships between governments, companies, and international organizations.
It is expected to gather heads of state, government officials, investors, business leaders, technology experts and international institutions.
About 1,000 participants from around 35 countries are also expected to attend the forum.

Some planned activities include high-level panel discussions, talks on digital transformation and AI, investment promotion sessions, business-to-business meetings and government-to-business discussions.
The Gabonese government also wants the forum to help position Gabon as a regional hub for innovation and investment, stronger player in African economic development and a centre for international dialogue and cooperation.
They will also use the occasion to commission the newly built conference centre in Libreville.
