Head Coach of Halifax Ladies, Mrs Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, has resigned from the club with immediate effect.
The decision, she explained, is afford her time to concentrate on the senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, which she now coaches.
According to her, she currently needs time to scout for players for the Black Queens who have upcoming national assignments, as well as honour other international engagements she has with CAF and FIFA.
“I have enjoyed my tenure at Halifax, and in particular feel honoured to have been a part of such a supportive team.
If I can be of help during this transition, please let me know. I am available to help train my replacement, and will ensure all my reports are updated before my last day of work.
Thank you again for the opportunity to work at Halifax. I wish you all the best and look forward to staying in touch,” portions of her resignation letter read.
Madam Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo is currently engaged by CAF as an instructor in Prampram training coaches from some selected schools at the grassroots level as they prepare for a CAF U15 girls tournament and Sports Festival.
