Multipac Ghana Limited has donated some PPEs and food items to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The donation is to support and thank the Ghana Armed Forces for their fight against the Covid- 19 and to ensure their safety.
The donation took place at the GAF headquarters in Burma Camp in Accra.
The items include: hand soap, sanitizers, gloves, nose masks, water and energy drinks valued at GH¢40,000.
The Marketing Director of Multipac Ghana Limited, Rabea Bourj, handed over the items to officers of GAF.
“We as a company will continue to support government deal with the pandemic by contributing what we can.”
Chief Staff Officer Brigadier General Michael Amoah Ayisi, who received the items on behalf of GAF, was appreciative of the donation and said it will go a long way to assist the army in the fight to combat Covid-19.
The Ghana Armed Forces is supporting the police to enforce a lockdown in Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Ghana.
Ghana as of April 8 has 313 cases and six deaths.
