In a bold move on Monday, September 9th, 2024, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, spearheaded a delegation of the party’s leadership to present the nomination forms for the NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and his Vice Presidential Candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, to the Electoral Commission.
Post-submission, Hon. Asiedu Nketia reiterated the NDC’s persistent demand for a forensic audit of the voter registration process. He announced that the NDC is gearing up for a nationwide demonstration scheduled to take place on September 17, 2024, with the primary objective of urging the electoral body to conduct the much-sought audit.
