Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has wished all Covid-19 infected frontliners including the Minister of Health a speedy recovery.

The infection of the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, has attracted well-wishes from several Ghanaians including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

In his 11th televised address to the nation on Sunday, June 14, the president said Mr Agyemang-Manu got infected “in the line of duty”.

He is said to be in stable condition, President Akufo-Addo added, and responding to treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

The Minister of Health has been one of the key frontliners especially advocating the safety of all Ghanaians at the bi-weekly press engagements organized by the Ministry of Information.

He has been on the podium vociferously sensitizing Ghanaians on the need to observe the health protocols in preventing the spread of coronavirus.

Fellow frontliner Information Minister took to Twitter on Sunday night to wish him and other frontliners a speedy recovery.

“Your hardwork and sacrifice should not be taken for granted,” he tweeted.

We wish Minister Agyeman Manu, the other infected frontliners and all who are covid-19 positive, a speedy recovery. Your hard work and sacrifice should not be taken for granted.
