The El Wak Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 28 was the home of arts, culture and music as the 2019 edition of the now very popular Afrochella festival took place.
The afrocentric event, which was part of activities lined up for the climax of the Year of Return, attracted scores of patrons from locals to foreigners.
The festival had on show the best Ghana had to offer from music, to food and fashion.
From 12 midday to late in the evening, the thousands who trooped to the venue, including some internationally celebrated entertainment personalities had the time of their lives.
Some of the known faces who attended the festival included Boris Kodjoe and his wife, Nicole Ari Parker.
At night, patrons were treated to splendid performances from Sarkodie, Kidi, Samini, Adina, Eazzy, King Promise, Tiwa Savage and a host of other impressive acts.
The event had controversial Nollywood actors Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe 2pac as the host.
