Some bigwigs within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have besieged the CID Headquarters in Accra in solidarity with the party’s Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.
The NDC Chairman is at the CID office for questioning following the circulation of a leaked audio tape which he is alleged of making certain statements purported to have security implications.
On Monday morning, Mr. Ampofo was spotted in the company of some NDC legal brains, leadership and functionaries at the CID Headquarters.
The likes of Tony Lithur, Ibraham Amaliba, Victor Adawudu, Hannah Bissiw, NDC Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi, former Attorney General, Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong among other heavy weights in the party were spotted with Mr. Ampofo in photos shared by journalist Sammy Ablordepey.
