President Akufo-Addo was involved in Ghana football for the 2019 Cup of Nations

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged all, especially those in the football fraternity, to rally behind newly elected president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku.

Kurt Okraku received massive endorsement after his closest contender George Akwasi Afriyie withdrew from the third round of voting.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, President Akufo-Addo congratulated Kurt Okraku on his election as the 24th President of the GFA.

He urged all to rally behind him to realise his vision for the growth and development of Ghana football.

Football remains the passion of our nation, and I urge all to rally behind him in realising his vision for the growth and development of #Ghana football. 2/2

— Nana Akufo-Addo (@NAkufoAddo) October 25, 2019
