The simmering tension between Wendy Shay and Fantana, both signed to the same record label, seems to have no end in sight. With rumours constantly circulating that all is not well between the two acts signed to RuffTown Records, owned by Bullet, Fantana has given credence to reports that she is not in good terms with Wendy Shay. Asked when was the last time she had a chat with her label mate, in an interview on Showbiz 360 on TV3 with Giovani Caleb, Fantana said “I don’t remember,” adding that Wendy Shay is not her friend. When the host inquired if she will ever feature Wendy Shay on a song, the ‘Girls Hate on Girls’ singer responded, “No”. Fantana explained that the time for such a feature or collaboration too “has passed.” While she is not ready to work with her label mate, the singer revealed that she has a couple of collaborations with other artistes coming up this year. Fantana, although signed to RuffTown Records, is managed by Blown GH.
