There was a major conversation on social media Wednesday, September 2, regarding what the priority should be when a political party is formulating a policy that will impact the youth.
Media General’s Election Command Centre set the motion by way of a poll, asking whether priority should be given to education, job creation or entrepreneurial skills development when formulating youth-oriented policies. Reactions were varied but most of votes that came through on the poll favoured job creation, followed by education.
While at it, there was a Zoom discussion on TV3 where some first-time voters and youth shared their views on some manifesto promises of the two major political parties: NDC and NPP.
Dela Michel followed through the social media conversation and presented same on TV3.
