Greener Watts limited, a specialised electrical multinational company based in the UK, will soon set up a subsidiary in Ghana.

The company aims to train and create technical jobs and empower Ghanaian graduates by mid-2019.

The UK based company specialises in electrical installations, solar PV, electric vehicle charging stations, emergency lighting, fault finding, inspection and testing, and are on the verge of setting up satellite offices in Ghana to provide jobs for Ghanaian graduates and equip graduates with skills in their areas of specialization.

Greener Watts aims to support the vision of the government to diversify the country’s dependence on electrical power and pilot their electric car project in Ghana.

With its footprint in Europe, the company believes the African economic system and labour force will benefit tremendously from acquainting itself with modern trends in electrical installation and skills in providing “green energy”.

In a recent interview with the media, Director of Greener Watts Bill Obeng-Yeboah revealed the company’s plans to leave a positive legacy in Africa.

“Our objective is to provide solutions that not only work but have a real impact on the bottom line as well as the environment. We believe equipping Africans with skills in our areas of specialization will reduce the unemployment burden bedevilling the continent and Ghana will be our first step,” he said.

They will pilot the electric car model in Ghana and other African countries to assess its feasibility and make recommendations for the African market.

As a renowned electrical services provider Greener Watts designs, supplies, installs, and maintains a variety of electrical and solar PV systems to tailor your needs.

Their main operating fields are the commercial, retail, industrial and domestic sectors.

They specialise in reducing commercial and domestic energy bills by introducing the very latest renewable energy technologies.

Considering the current economic climate and with ever rising energy costs, Greener Watts Limited plans to offer instant returns that reduce energy bills and reduce carbon footprints in Africa.

Ghana is the first country out of four Africa Greener Watts has pencilled to extend its services to.

It plans to undertake similar initiatives in the Gambia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso.
