Man who invaded pitch in Stars-Bafana Bafana game gets bail [photo]

The young man who invaded the pitch during Ghana’s Black Stars match against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa has finally been released from police cells. Awal Suleman gave the security details at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast a ‘good run for their uniform’ on Thursday evening. The atmosphere erupted with cheers and jeers as Awal treated the spectators to almost a never-ending chase when the match was in session with some minutes to end it all. Unfortunately for him, a combined security force of more than 10 men, after a sort of merry-go-round episode, amidst tumbling, grabbed Awal Suleman in the loin area and whisked him out of field of play tiptoeing.
