One person has been killed while two persons are said to be in critical condition after a truck carrying supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) got involved in an accident at Brohane Junction in the Tain District of the Bono Region.
The about 150 supporters of the opposition party were attending a mini-rally in the Banda Constituency on Thursday when the accident occurred.
A Sprinter Driver with car registration number AE 3268-13 said the supporters were from from Drobo and were heading to Banda for the mini-rally.
This accident comes barely a week after seven supporters of the party, on their way to meet the flagbearer in the Ashanti Region, died in an accident at Frante near Ejura.
