Police in the Upper West Region took less than 48 hours to fish out a Nigerian who was on the run after knowing his status as regards the novel coronavirus.
Simon Okafor Chukudi escaped from self-isolation at his residence in Wapaani despite testing positive for coronavirus.
The Upper West Regional Police Command, consequently, mounted a search for him.
He was arrested on Friday around the Wa Polytechnic.

He has been handed over the Covid-19 task force and sent to the new regional hospital under heavy security.
