Undoubtedly, mothers deserve to be celebrated as they always put others ahead of themselves.

Ghana’s leading television station, TV3 Network, as part of this year’s Mothers’ Day celebration is providing a perfect opportunity for mothers to be celebrated as we reflect on all their hard work.

TV3 this week launched a television and online show to air on mother’s day, Sunday, May 10.

Dubbed ‘Mama’s Got Talent’, the one-hour show is exclusively for mothers to exhibit their talents.

Speaking about the show, General Manager in charge of Operations at the Media General Group Winfred Kingsley Afful said “of course, Mother’s Day isn’t just a day for celebrating your own mother”.

“It’s a day for honouring all the women in your life who have supported and nurtured you. This is what TV3 seeks to achieve with the ‘Mama’s Got Talent’ show. Apart from your own mother, you can put up other deserving mothers for this show.”

Members of the general public are to send videos of their mothers displaying their unique talent (cooking, singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument, etc) to all TV3 pages on social media.

The five Most-liked videos will have the opportunity to participate in the ‘Mama’s Got Talent’ show on Mothers’ Day alongside some celebrity mothers and celebrities joining in via Zoom.

Also, viewers will have the opportunity to call in to deliver their Mothers’ Day messages and request songs for their mothers.

Prizes for the winners include hampers, spa treatment, beauty products, health coupon, salon treat, dinner for two, food items and other consolation prizes.
