The National Service Authority (NSA) has released a total of 85,159 personnel drawn from across accredited tertiary institutions in the country to start a one-year mandatory national service.
The posting represents the first batch deployed to both private and public firms.
“This figure excludes personnel who had issues with data mis-match and have either had it resolved or pending review, teachers, nurses, midwives and other equally vital categories,” a statement issued by the Director-General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, said.
All prospective personnel who have no issues with their postings are expected to undergo a strict laid-down registration process from Wednesday, October 29.
All will have up to Friday, November 21 to do their registration.
In congratulating all posted, management of the NSA cautioned against engaging the services of scam syndicates “for changes in postings and other related issues”.
“The Authority does not engage the services of these so-called ‘middlemen’ in its deployment exercise.”
The service officially begins Monday, November 3 for successful registrants.
