Christian Council calls on Bawumia; congratulates him as NPP Flagbearer

A delegation of the Christian Council of Ghana yesterday paid a courtesy visit to former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, following his election as Presidential Candidate of the NPP for the 2028 election.

The delegation, led by Rev. Enoch Nii Narh Thompson, expressed the Council’s congratulations and goodwill to the former Vice President, as well as prayed for him.

In a post on his Facebook page after the visit, Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude to the delegation for the visit and their kind words to him.

The former Vice President also reiterated his commitment to continuous collaboration with faith-based groups to advance the development of the country.
