The coronavirus infections in Ghana have seen the highest ever confirmations in a day after 758 cases were recorded.
The latest confirmations, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), are records as of Wednesday, July 1.
The new cases have taken the total cumulative cases of the country from 18,580 to 19,388.
The recoveries-cum-discharges are now 14,330 and the deaths are still 117.
This, as a result, leaves 4,941 active cases being treated and managed by the country.
Out of these cases, eight are in critical conditions and 24 are in severe conditions. Six are on ventilators.
