Kumasi-based Akoma FM held its maiden outdoor programme at the Sofoline Lorry Terminal on Friday, August 28.
The event begun with the super morning show ‘Adekyee Mu Nsem’ with Sir John in the driving seat.
The Municipal Chief Executive of Kwadaso, Agyenim Boateng, who was a special guest, presented some personal protective equipment (PPEs) to the station for onward distribution to the public.
‘Live Worship’ continued with the Son of Nazareth, who hosted gospel icons Rev. Mensah Bonsu and Bro Fire. They entertained the crowd and listeners with some gospel tunes.
Maame Dufie and her team continued with ‘Obatanpa’. People shared their problems while counsellors on the show also helped with solutions in the most interactive session of the day.
‘Akoma Sports Station’ took over with Gaius and his team. They served listeners with the latest in the world of sports.
2020 Ghana Strongest Man winner Ahmed Boakye also came through to flex some muscles to the delight of the crowd.
The event was climaxed with ‘Kwantenpon Drive’. Host Tony Best talked to the sensational Kumerica creators and Kumawood icon Barima Bedii De.
The outdoor event saw some stars in the showbiz passing through.
