The first session of the Media General News training held at the Airport West Hotel, Accra came to a successful end over the weekend.
The two-day training had about 25 personnel from MG Radio, MG TV and MG Digital in attendance.
The main facilitator was former BBC journalist Joseph Warungu, who is currently the General Manager for MG News.
He was assisted by some departmental heads to basically throw more light on some select areas in journalism.
Trainees were taken through various topics related to news in general.
There are two more sessions scheduled for within this week.
