Former manager of Hearts of Oak Kenichi Yatsuhashi has been appointed as Head Coach of Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies.
The Japanese-American is expected to coach the senior side in the 2017/2018 season as well as spearhead the Tema-based club’s youth development programme.
He will therefore handle Cedar Stars Academy, the youth side of Allies.
A “very happy” Yatsuhashi expressed appreciation over the deal.
“I appreciate your continuing support,” he tweeted on Thursday.

The gritty physical trainer is expected to arrive “in time” for Eleven Is To One’s pre-season preparations.
The President of the club, Rabeh El-Eter, is quoted by the club’s website as saying: “We are glad to have Kenichi as our Head Coach for the coming season”.
Until this appointment, King Kenni, as he was affectionately called while at Hearts, was coach of Cambodian C-League side Tiger FC.
He also had a short stint with Nigerian Premier League side FC Ifeanyi Ubah in 2016.
