The Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 joined mourners at the one week celebration of the late lawyer and NPP stalwart, Akenten Appiah-Menka.
The event was held in the Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi.
“I am deeply saddened by his loss and pray the almighty God to grant him peaceful rest. May the Lord comfort the bereaved family,” Dr. Bawumia commented, “Nana due!”
Akenten Appiah-Menka died on Tuesday, 13 February 2018.
He was 84.
