Black Stars Head Coach Carlos Queiroz has named a 23-man squad for Ghana’s penultimate friendly game against 2026 World Cup co-hosts Mexico on Friday, May 22.
The squad, released on Wednesday, May 6, features several debut call-ups including Brazil-based Francis Amuzu.
The team also has six Ghana Premier League players in it.
Conspicuously missing are a huge chunk of the regular players, insinuating an objective by the coach to get new additions to the Black Stars squad for next month’s tournament.
