The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is arraigning suspect Sampson Azumah before the courts today, Wednesday, November 19 for allegedly stabbing a firefighter. The incident happened last Friday at Adjiringanor, where the firefighters had bee called in over a raging inferno. He was later arrested after tipoff by some residents in Madina. He has been in police custody assisting in investigations. The Western North Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect believed to be connected to a violent robbery attack on a mining site at Sefwi Antobia in the Western North Region. Firefighters from the Bechem Fire Station swiftly responded to a 5:38 a.m. distress call earlier on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 after a head-on collision involving a Ford Transit and a Kia Rhino at Nyamebekyere on the Sunyani–Kumasi highway.
