Ghanaian YouTuber, film editor/director and now social activist Kingkay Africa has completed a scheduled Peace Walk from Accra to Kumasi in eight days. The walk started from the Independence Square in Accra on Saturday, October 31 and traversed scenic routes on the Accra-Kumasi stretch and ended on Saturday, November7. The National Security Ministry has assured the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that all security officers deployed for the December 7 elections will wear identification tag. “Additionally, a proper register of security officers will be kept for ease of reference,” a statement issued by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, on behalf of the Ministry of National Security said. A total of 676 school children in the Volta Region have been impregnated during the Coronavirus period, spanning March to September, a report by the Ghana Education Service (GES) has revealed. Of the figure, 176 of the pregnancies were recorded among primary pupils, 325 in Junior High (JHS), and 175 in Senior High School (SHS) A total of 285 nursing mothers are also recorded to be in school, the majority in the JHS and SHS.
