The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has initiated investigations into a list of examiners making rounds on social media. The list is said to be a version of an Examiners’ List for the 2020 West African Senior Schools Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). It is unclear who is behind the publication of the list but WAEC accepts it is yet to be finalized, describing the development as “unfortunate” and “disturbing”. It has subsequently apologized to all examiners whose contact details were inadvertently published. “The Council has initiated investigations into this disturbing development and reported the matter to the Cyber Crime Department of…

He made this assertion following a presentation by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, August 18 on government’s infrastructural achievements. Dr Bawumia, at a virtual townhall meeting at the Academy of Arts and Sciences, indicated that in the history of the Fourth Republic, no government has achieved as much in its first term of office in terms of infrastructure projects than Akufo-Addo-led government. “Our opponents are welcome to show us what…

He pointed out that the deal is shrouded in secrecy, as…

Speaking on TV3’s Covid-19 360 on Wednesday, Mr Oppong Nkrumah said “the number of tests being done today are not the same as before because the number of possible cases have come down”. This comes in the wake of comments made on Monday, August 17 by a former Deputy Trade Minister, Ibrahim Mohammed Murtala. But the Minister of Information stated that government hasn’t deliberately decided to lower…
