The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) has called on the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) to consider additional mechanisms in enhancing safety at all registration centres. According to Codeo, despite the ample space at most registration centres, its observers noted that EC officials could not ensure social distancing of applicants in queues. Final year students of the KNUST SHS in the Ashanti Region went on rampage Tuesday night after they accused authorities of neglecting a sick student who later died at the hospital. The irate students vandalized properties including a vehicle belonging to the headmistress. President Donald Trump has formally moved to withdraw the US from the World Health Organization (WHO). Ghana’s Covid-19 cases have risen by nearly 2,000 cases within two days.
