Parliament has approved a request to waive Domestic VAT totaling US$3.1 million on local purchases and services in the rehabilitation and upgrading of equipment in Technical Universities, Polytechnics and Technical and Vocational Training Centres. Three months after confirming its first two index cases, Ghana’s total case count as regards the novel coronavirus disease has risen beyond 11,000. The total case count now is 11,118. An orderly has died of Covid-19 in the Eastern Region. The non-clinical health worker’s death brings the Region’s death toll to two.
