The Christ Kingdom Ambassadors Church in Takoradi in the Western Region has changed its Sunday Service time as part of efforts to ensure that the church will not serve as a place to contract the coronavirus disease. The church has changed the Sunday Service time from the original 8:00am – 12:00am to 7:30am – 9:00am. Ghana has now officially recorded six cases of the coronavirus disease as of Sunday, March 15. This was confirmed by the Head of Public Health of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Badu Sarkodie, at a press briefing on Sunday. The new cases came in pairs just like the first two cases confirmed concurrently by the Noguchi Memorial Institute of Medical Research on Thursday, March 12. Staff of Bui Power Authority (BPA) who have wards at some three international schools recently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic are to self-quarantine. They are to self-quarantine from Monday, March 16 for two weeks. This was contained in a memo issued from the Chief Executive Officer to all staff on Friday.
